Hello Everyone, This will be my third year as director at Scargo and I'm very excited as well as honored to contribute to such a wonderful pre-school community. I have been apart of the Scargo for almost 7 years. I am a “native” Cape Codder, having grown up in Barnstable and graduate of Anna Marie College with a bachelors degree in Human Development and Social Services. I have been working with children since leaving college in a variety of ways from the May Institute, Behavioral Connections where I was a one on one supervisor as well as in their pre-school setting and as a personal nanny for two local families. I was exposed to Scargo by one of the families I nannied. My nephew Jordan, also attended Scargo in 2016. (He still talks about it, 6 years later) My husband, step sons, Jayden (13) and Cody (10), our dog, Lily and I live in centerville. We love going to the beach, going out in the boat and fishing. I am the varsity assistant field hockey coach for Barnstable High School. This is my 5th season coaching. |
Hi, my name is Marisa and I started teaching in 2009. I am an alumni of Framingham State University and have a bachelor's degree in Psychology and a minor in Art Studio. I grew up in Westborough, MA and I’ve lived on Cape Cod since 2016. I have 2 young daughters and in my free time I enjoy going to the beach with my family, doing crafts with my kids and gardening. My favorite activities in the classroom are music and movement and science experiments. I love teaching language, self-help skills and learning through play. I look forward to meeting you and your family!

Hi, My name is Miss. Brook. I am thrilled to start teaching at Scargo School! I was born and raised on Nantucket Island where my love for teaching all began at the preschool I attended as a child. A few years after I graduated High School I received my lead teacher certification where I taught a variety of different age groups over the years. I moved to Dennisport in 2022 with my two boys, Krew and Easton and their father Patrick. After taking a short leave from teaching to stay home with my youngest son, I am beyond excited to continue my love for teaching at Scargo!
