Hello Everyone, This will be my third year as director at Scargo and I'm very excited as well as honored to contribute to such a wonderful pre-school community. I have been apart of the Scargo for almost 7 years. I am a “native” Cape Codder, having grown up in Barnstable and graduate of Anna Marie College with a bachelors degree in Human Development and Social Services. I have been working with children since leaving college in a variety of ways from the May Institute, Behavioral Connections where I was a one on one supervisor as well as in their pre-school setting and as a personal nanny for two local families. I was exposed to Scargo by one of the families I nannied. My nephew Jordan, also attended Scargo in 2016. (He still talks about it, 6 years later) My husband, step sons, Jayden (13) and Cody (10), our dog, Lily and I live in centerville. We love going to the beach, going out in the boat and fishing. I am the varsity assistant field hockey coach for Barnstable High School. This is my 5th season coaching. |
Hi, my name is Marisa and I started teaching in 2009. I am an alumni of Framingham State University and have a bachelor's degree in Psychology and a minor in Art Studio. I grew up in Westborough, MA and I’ve lived on Cape Cod since 2016. I have 2 young daughters and in my free time I enjoy going to the beach with my family, doing crafts with my kids and gardening. Hi, I’m Miss Erika. I am a Cape Cod native. I grew up in Brewster, and graduated from Nauset High School. I have a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology, and have worked in several corporate day care & preschool centers, as well as nannied for a few families. I am a mom of two boys, ages 14 & 12. Prior to becoming a Mom, I worked at DCF as a Social Worker, DYS, the D.A.’s office, as a Victim/Witness Advocate, and worked many years with specialized foster care children. I truly love working with children & their families. I find it so rewarding to be a part of children’s developmental milestones. I reside in Brewster with my family & my two cats, Yaris & Pancake. In my free time, you can find me on the beach, paddleboarding, watching sports, playing VR or Xbox with my sons, practicing yoga, hiking on the many Cape Cod trails, baking, gardening, and watching movies. I started at Scargo in October 2024, as an Infant/Toddler Teacher. I am so grateful to be a part of the Scargo School, it is such a warm and welcoming school community. |
Hi, My name is Miss. Brook. I am thrilled to start teaching at Scargo School! I was born and raised on Nantucket Island where my love for teaching all began at the preschool I attended as a child. A few years after I graduated High School I received my lead teacher certification where I taught a variety of different age groups over the years. I moved to Dennisport in 2022 with my two boys, Krew and Easton and their father Patrick. After taking a short leave from teaching to stay home with my youngest son, I am beyond excited to continue my love for teaching at Scargo!

Hi! My name is Ms. Jamie. I grew up on Cape Cod and attended Suffolk University in Boston where I graduated with my Bachelors degree in Sociology. I worked in Human Services in Dorchester and all over Cape Cod! I live in South Yarmouth with my husband and two children, all three of them are Scargo School graduates! I served on the Scargo Board of Directors while my kids attended and have worked at Scargo the last few years. Initially, I worked as a substitute teacher but my Scargo journey led me to full time adventures and learning. I decided to pursue my early education certification because I realized this is where my passion and happiness lies! I look forward to you joining our Scargo family. |
